Lewis County High School Hosts South Central Accountability Meeting

Lewis County High School welcomed educators and stakeholders from across the region as we hosted the South Central Accountability Meeting in the LCHS Library.

These meetings, coordinated through the Tennessee Department of Education, provide an opportunity for school and district leaders to learn more about how school accountability and letter grades are determined, review student performance data, discuss the metrics used to measure school and district success, and next steps for the data review process over the next few months.

Participants also explored the accountability framework used across Tennessee and discussed ways to continue improving outcomes for students in the South Central region.

We are proud that Lewis County High School had the opportunity to serve as the host site for this important conversation.
