The Lewis County Board of Education will meet in regular session on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.in the Lewis County Board of Education board meeting room located on 206 South Court Street. Prior to the regular session meeting, there will be a work session. The work session will be held at the Board meeting room beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Items on the agenda includes: 

•    Recognition of SCOPE students
•    Recognition of LCMS Top Ten
•    3rd quarter warrants
•    Director’s report.
•    Approve travel for HOSA students to travel to University of North Alabama on April 25, 2024.
•    Amend school calendar for 2024-2025 school year to include discretionary administrative days. 
•    Discussion/action regarding hiring an architect from the recent RFQ for architectural services for capital improvements.
•    Budget amendments

Individuals desiring to appear before the Board may request placement on the agenda by contacting the office of the Director of Schools within 72 hours before the meeting. They will be recognized at the beginning of the meeting during public input and remarks will be limited to (3) minutes. Items that will be considered for public input must be an action item listed on the agenda. The first five (5) people who sign up for a particular action item on the agenda will be allowed to address the Board.
